$21.4M in tax refunds to go out for returns up to Jan. 30

About 5,300 checks are going out in the mail.

Guam - A large amount of tax refund are going out in the mail for filers who filed up to January 30.

Governor’s spokesperson Oyaol Ngirairikl announced that $21.4 million in tax refunds will be going out for all error-free returns that were filed up to January 30. That amount covers about 5,300 checks.

 Meanwhile, at a public hearing last night for Adelup’s proposal for a tax refund line of credit, only three republican senators showed up.

The governor’s bill proposes to open a $75 million line of credit in order to pay all tax refunds by May of the respective tax years.
